PLAIN PIE CRUMB
110g plain flour
20g caster sugar
Pinch of sea salt
60g melted butter
1 tsp cold water

CHOCOLATE PIE CRUMB
60g plain flour
50g cocoa powder
60g caster sugar
Pinch of sea salt
20g melted butter
20g vegetable oil
1 tsp cold water

BIRTHDAY CAKE PIE CRUMB
110g plain flour
Pinch of sea salt
20g caster sugar
10g light brown sugar
40g melted butter
15g vegetable oil
½ tsp vanilla extract
10g colourful sprinkles
1–2 tsp cold water

  1. I bought your book and was not to happy at the print error of the smudges on the txt which makes some pages unreadable. apart from that it’s a excellent book. Did you have some problems with the print of some batches ? Keep up the good work Love your videos.

  2. Can we talk oven trays I’m sick of buying scrubbing and ruining supermarket ones, what do you use that lasts I’m not commercial but would love my trays to still be useable after 6 months regular baking 😂😂😂

I’d like to ask about your previous recipe if I may (as I recognize that you usually do not have time to answer questions on your older video comments!) for the brown sugar Italian meringue from the past two weeks, do you think it’d work as a base for Italian meringue if I just add some butter after making it? Or would you use slightly different ratio to make the base Italian meringue if you were to use for brown sugar Italian meringue buttercream?? Thank you in advance!!
