I would just put a simple screen and be done with it. Flipping the door swing with just cause more problem with it hitting the bed or bedside table. Feng shui is great for peace of mind and sleep but lets be practical about it.

I appreciate Dear Modern's creativity in solving problem spaces. If I consider feng shuei as the feeling/vibe that a space gives off, that makes sense to me. When it comes to being afraid of offending ghosts, it sounds superstitious.

I feel like this is a rare miss. It seems like the discomfort here is probably caused by the large amount of space in front of the door. Like it exists just for something to sit and pounce. The seperator could still fix that if narrows the space enough though ideally they just need to move the bed.
In the UK all our bedroom doors open away from the room for this reason!
