$200 Shoes Transformed Into $2000 Shoes (Meermin)

In this video, we take on the challenge of turning this $200 pair of dress shoes into a pair of 4-figure shoes $$$$. For most bespoke shoes, it’s all of the little details that add up in price. In this makeover, we take this pair of Meermin oxfords and add as many “bespoke” options as we can in order to make this pair of shoes go up in price.

  1. Hi gents, another really enjoyable video. I’ve followed you from the channel’s start, and one of the things I appreciate is how you push yourselves in your craft – evident on this project for sure! ????????????????????

  2. Taking into account the work hours (and the material), this actually are expensive shoes now. But there is also a reason why cheaper shoes are cheaper.

  3. Interesting idea and beautiful result. I don't do anything that would require me to wear this kind of shoe, but I do appreciate quality, expertise, and passion. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Wow I wish I could buy shoes that look that nice. Hopefully somebody gets some good use out of them. Excellent work as usual.

  5. I've watched all the Siroeno Yosui vids and it's pretty cool seeing you guys stepping into that level of workmanship. Gotta wonder though, base $200 shoes, plus materials, plus whatever the fair hourly rate you gentlemen earn x16??? or more man hours… how much do these go for? Nice work and a good video as always, thanks for sharing.

  6. Amazing videos and so much passion in these videos! I got inspired to take my finest shoes to a local cobbler here in Melbourne, Australia! Needles to say I was very disappointed with the upgrades! The shoes looked half finished and not as near as good as the ones in these videos. Can any of you cobblers who are following Trenton & Heath from Melbourne, Australia and are confident that your craftsmanship is as close as theirs message me as I really want to pay you a visit?

  7. Very cool, you took those to a whole new level. Off to watch dad at the Stormin Cellar.
