  1. I feel like Mike could have really showed himself off if he thought "why can't I use these potatoes as I intended?" and did something to mitigate that – ie, mashing them and spreading that mash onto a tray to allow as much evaporation (and as much browning, crisping, etc) as possible to happen.

  2. Ben picking up the quesadilla, pulling it apart, and saying "not enough cheese to hold together " is fucked. It could of been all cheese and do8ng what he did would make it fall apart.

  3. So much brown with a touch of green. Don't get me wrong, my cooking often does the same, but I give it a C for planning.

  4. Wow Mike, considering yyour nerves and how much your hands were trembling for this challenge, you did extremely well.

  5. Mike did an amazing job on this. Fatherhood must be teaching him calmness!

  6. Ben has such a narrow view of food waste. My wife and I often throw last night's dinner in a bowl with a fresh application of herbs, maybe a little veg and Boom fantastic at work lunch. Stop thinking that you can only prepare enough for that night's meal.

  7. We definitely need a Shopping with Sorted segment where we see the whole process of you guys shopping. Walking the aisles on best produce etc or a recipe at the end?

  8. A trick for quesadillas: fill them only halfway, then fold the tortilla over. That makes it easier to flip. And easier to cut. It also gives each piece a solid edge, so they're easier to eat.

  9. Question, the food cools during the whole episode. How do you judge them? Do you keep them warm or are you used to cold food?

  10. I've seen many a Huttlestorm… I think this is the first Huttlebreeze! Bravo!

  11. Think pan frying the cooked potatoes at a higher heat may have browned them. Neatest trick I learned from Americas Test Kitchen is to add a little water to pan if you are trying to add good browning. Counterintuitive but it works well.

  12. Much improvement in Mike's cooking temperament, I'd cheerfully eat any of those three options.
