What a shitty power company with a crappy power distribution system!
cant u just switch the legs lol
I’d bill the electrical company for all the money you lost cause of not having power
Once control winding are switched to live phase(s) One could add a capacitor to simulate the 3rd phase for the pump motor if it is 3 phase. Selecting the correct value might be tricky. and get it turning the right way.
Why do they all look like this lol
Must have been Gainesville ❤
I sell them on a new generator
Talk about making it happen for the customer

That right there is the kinda stuff I work on 😅 I had no idea electricians took those calls..
About a year ago i was working on a walk in cooler condenser that had severe voltage drop unit was 208 but was showing 191 across all 3 legs. I knew it was a electrical issue relating to the power line cause other units went down to a phase loss. Within the hour the utility company came out and swapped phases, come to find out one phase was drawing 900 amps. Soon after unit was running good along with the others and this was for a 711
Interesting waiting ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Ok, where is his backup generator? If they can lose that much money in a day, get the generator… I am ALWAYS amazed at how many stations don't invest in a backup system.
Too short, was getting into it
This is going to be an interesting video. Here in Germany, three-phase is standard. I find it really interesting in the USA how they do it with the transformers and then how the switching is done. I'm sometimes completely confused, especially since the sub-distribution boards and colors look so different. Also so old-school in some parts, like here in the 1960s. Which surprises me a bit. When everything is so important, the old installation isn't prepared at all for emergency power. Perhaps it could be modernized, because the grid operator is apparently very slow and indifferent. You could install transfer switches and connections for mobile generators. But that's of course a thing of the future, and generators like that cost a lot to rent, and the new installation a lot of money. I'm surprised that they haven't taken generators into consideration, because you could connect them up and it would be easier and risk-free. I mean, you could also accidentally end up with unbalanced loads, as complex as the gas station's network appears at first glance. I'm really looking forward to the video and the first measurements.
Could of got a generator or throw a VFD in there temporarily
NO LINK BRO WHERE IS IT?

Sunbelt Rentals- 3 phase generator
Assuming that the pumps are not three phase I’m guessing you put all of the pumps on phase b and c. Otherwise, you may have brought in a three phase rental generator for temp service.
Cant find the link to the full video!
Post the rest! I cant wait any longer!!
Just opened up a gutter last week and had some fireworks. Piss poor tape job from 30 years ago cost a 800 amp blow out. I HATE that tap rule!!!
Thats the cleanest piping I've seen at a gas station in a while. Usually bunch of unstrapped mc going all over the dropped ceiling.
Bro you are the boss hog for that one. I remember doing something similar for an outreach for homeless food center. They lost a leg, and someone had jumbled the circuits all over the panel. Getting their coolers back in order while the replacement 3 phase breaker was on the way was wild but gratifying.
