  1. I live in The Shetland island…far north of Scotland. They recycled the glass bottles into different varieties of grain…some were used for flag stones the harder textures…most were used and compressed and used in kitchen worktops…they were amazing..the variety of colour's were fantastic too..we had a huge amount area to fill in a garden walled areas….and it cost too much for hard core ( £100) ???? and Small stones so we had a ton bag. (£10)???????? of the various glass recycling it compacted down with concrete ..it was covered in a clear solution to prevent chipping against any glass breaking..but when the sun shone through and his the base of the walled area….oh my goodness it was like having a treasure trove …lights colour's…..I would love to have on of the kitchen worktops in my house now….they were extremely heavy. And very durable…

  2. I definitely don’t want to use plastic anything, recycled or not in my home. We need to turn the plastic tap off and stop making the stuff. And then only use recycled plastic for things we have no other way of making at present.

  3. Recycling plastic is actually a bad idea that is bad for the environment. Using it as kitchen panels is even worse. I love the other ideas but stop telling people that it would be a good thing to use or recycle plastic.

  4. Thanks will keep this in mind! Also reclaimed timbers from a salvage yard to prevent beautiful hardwood timbers and gum trees going into landfill or being burnt for firewood!

  5. ???? Great choices, Colin! Have used each at different times: all are nice to work with as well as looking terrific! Amazing channel! ????✌️
