The older ones you can get more flavor out of. But essentially they contain probiotics for immunity.

19 yr old pickled jar.. meaning she refill it with water to continue the brine.. when need it.. for example.. if you drink a glass of water when there's like half left you add more water to make it a full glass again

I watched your shorts for a time now and my German brain cant comprehend why someone want 3 year old pickled vegetables.
I know that Sauerkraut is being fermented/pickled in a way but waay shorter sothat its ready to eat. Of course pickling vegetables makes them last longer, my grandparents defnitley did that. I just never saw a Jar as big as that, we do it in smaller airtight sealed Mason jars. Aswell as making marmelade.
I guess it adds flavour and from what I saw i couldnt tell if its really yummy or just sour.

The Point is, stay healthy and eat fresh. Dont risk your food from turning bad when you have a one for all Jar that you open everyday to eat from it.

PS Sorry in advance if sentence structure is bad or spelling, its late here in Germany.

Delicious but too much causes is bad.
Stomach cancer in Asia was common until fresh vegetables became available year round
