We challenged chefs of three different skill levels – amateur Desi, home cook Emily, and professional chef Saúl Montiel from Cantina Rooftop in New York – to make us their best chips and queso dip. Once each level of chef had presented their creations, we asked expert food scientist Rose to explain the choices each made along the way. Which chips and queso are you bringing to the function?

Emily is a lvl 2 now yes
10:44 Traditionally, chorizo base is equal parts pork and chicken, but it's a little harder to find traditional chorizo.
My favorite people!
What a journey for Emily. I know I said it before… I love that she made it to Level Two Chef.
The lady in pink should look in the camera, i couln't think of anything else lol
EMILY IS A LEVEL 2 CHEF. pensé que no viviría para ver este momento
What’s room temperature, cause I keep mine at 70 degrees
EMILY!!! So happy for level 2
Me and my niece really loved Emily's Chips and Queso
The level 1 black guy just makes my gut turned YUCK!!!
Oh you silly ignorant gringos who use the spanish word for cheese to name a cheese dish
I would love to make the level 2 I just need to skip the cilantro ???? ???? cilantro tastes like bar of soap for me ????????????
Keep it up Emily. I've been rooting for you for a minute, now
Love that Emily was bumped up to level 2. She deserves it!!
My family's version of this is just veveta and Hormel chili(no beans) in a crock pot mixing every once in a while.
Saul: "Because when your married, your happy like me". [No smile, no winks, no laughs, no joking]
Saul, you are a gem.
This is the ultimate trio. They would take down Thanos no problem
These are my favorite trio for each level. Great to see them all together in the same video ????
“It tastes like heaven queso… you know like when you go to heaven and there’s a lot of cheese”???????????? you have to love Chef Saul❤️???????? Love seeing Saul & Emily in the same video. Would love to see them cook together!!!
Did chef Saul smoke before this episode or are his allergies just acting up? Lol
Where's the ketchup??
Level 5 chef: grows his own corn and vegetables.
You can ALWAYS "help" your genes, you just can't change them!
Velveeta is NOT cheese! It is a laboratory concoction. Add over 50% cheddar or Monterrey Jack, at least.
Look at Emily’s level up! So happy to see it!
"some sea salt. some potassium."
