This workout is introducing dumbbells and strength work into our week! This workout can be done at home or at the gym, and you can use anything from a couple sets of dumbbells to a barbell to a backpack for your resistance! We will work for 3 rounds of each exercise for 60 seconds each and each exercise will be completed with a challenge to increase your challenge each round. Grab your yoga block and glute resistance band if you have them (optional) and let’s get started!

The Workout:

Warm up 1:27-4:28
1. Lateral Squats with band 4:29-7:59
2. Sumo Squat with Pulse 8:00-11:58
3. Reverse Lunge with Knee Drive 12:28-16:05
4. Band Kickbacks 16:28-20:00
5. RDL 20:45- 24:14
6. Glute bridge 24:44-28:14
7. Squat to Deadlift 30:00-32:14
8. Heels up Squats to step off calf raise 32:45-36:15
9. Wall sit or squat hold 36:40-40:30
Cool Down: 40:30-44:52

  2. Coming from a back injury, had to modify most of the exercises today. Also kept it to 10-12 reps throughout and some with only 2 sets. But u know what, this is my personal best. ????????

  3. Omg my legs!! Never tried the heel raises squats….whoa Nelly !! Legs are fired up with the blood rushing everywhere. But heck yes I showed up. ????????????????

  6. Do you have any advice on grip pain when holding dumbells for long periods? I tap out early not because I'm tired, but, because my grip starts to hurt after a few exercises holding them when doing leg workouts.
