I've always loved the idea of Skaven Admech which are just a little bit like Orks in that it works because they got lucky and slapped the right part into the right slot at the right time and call it a holy rite but end up with a ridiculous amalgamation of machinery

Wild how large AOS is compared to the grim dark future. Rats are absolutely tiny in the aos scene. The fact you can kit bash them with 40k ….🤯

I am filling the doctrinal holes of the adepta sororitas with kitbashes. I've given them a sniper & vindicator, currently working on a terminator equivalent, a couple of knight armigers, and cavalry with plans to give them a boat, drop pod, baneblade & knight dominus.

I always thought the tyranids were supposed to be the 40k Skaven. Both are the unkillable pests that show up out of no where. The skaven don't have a hive mind, but both have the drone/queen bee structure

My gsc skaven have been my pet project since October love those dudes except for the tool acolytes mining weapons make me sad to paint so i procrastinate specifically that one unit despite how cool they look

A dark mech proxy for Belasaurious Cawl that is just like 2 dozen servo skulls swarming around under a open fronted cloak. Using networked servo skulls in place of a true abominable intelligence, I'd probably name it Setiahom (SETI@home) since that was my first exposure to distributed super computing. I've had an idea for several years for a kitbashed dark mech army using fantasy wraiths with katafron breachers chest plates and a few other bits also maybe a banshee or one of the female vampire counts combined with some sisters of silence and admech parts.
