  8. My mom also didn't care about swearing and music choices and it let me be a kid and figure out who I wanted to listen to and emulate in life. And I'm a happy healthy 36 year old now! Lol

  10. The swear words is a slippery slope. She may be a good kid, but what happens at home never stays in the home and it’s very naive to think that. But it’s a good rule to never swear AT someone, so hopefully she follows that one everywhere she goes.

  20. I think for them mental health days home from school, a few days each year is okay but if it’s something that’s becoming more common and frequent , maybe there’s something going on either at school or mental health wise that needs to be addressed with more than just a day at home.

  26. I would just tell my kids don’t repeat words at school or to insult others if they are very young it’s only an exception if they hurt themselves and said like “shit” or smt 😂or if they heard someone else say it
