  1. I appreciate things like this, because I'm allergic to most premade foods, so this is helpful.

  2. Making homemade hummus is just so easy (I add ground cumin and lemon juice). But some areas it can be difficult to get your hands on tahini. I also love making my own Vietnamese spring rolls (or summer rolls depending on where you are) and peanut sauce/noodles. It's so easy and WAY cheaper than what you'd get at a restaurant. Also popping your own popcorn is significantly cheaper. And there are more flavor options with different powdered shakers you can buy. Making your own fruit leather is also easy. And if you use things like the fruit some stores sell for dirt cheap cuz it's about to go bad, it can be really cheap and less wasteful.

  3. I always make jam. It's so easy and you can adjust the fruit-sugar ratio. Also, you can use any fruit you like, not just the regular jam flavours.
Another thing I like to prep ahead are herbs. Buy a bundle of herbs, cut them up and put it in a container that then goes in the freezer. If a recipe says "one spoon of fresh [herb]" you don't have to buy a whole bundle and the rest will go bad in a couple of days. You can just scoop out a spoon full of the frozen ones and add it to the pot.

  4. 17:19 Walking around factories would be so cool! I would love to see you visit smaller producers around UK to see how they make products. A British take on June's Kitchen!

  5. I really like this video format. I always like the videos the most in which you recommend things you do or use yourself like that red apple peeler.

  6. If you close the lid when the tomato souce is stil really hot ad a bit oil on top, the souce will be storeable for month. If you ad onions it will shorten the time imens…so I have onions in the fridge and I roast them with garlic and than ad the jar with souce, a bit milk or cream…best quick souce.
yes pleace do more of this

  7. The garlic bread reminds me of one of my favorite Italian restaurants. They would put crispy fried garlic chips on everything. It was so good, I'd order extra. It's pretty easy to make at home too, but not burning it takes a little practice. Once you've made a batch, not only do you get crispy garlic to put on bread, salads, or Italian dinners, but you also get garlic infused oil.

  8. I really appreciate your efforts! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (wonder obey dial dash soon tank spike scout region undo zero such). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?

  9. I make my own mayonaise. I have made lasagne bread with own dough its like a scrolls. Yum!

  10. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODS!-ehem… I mean, A salute to Nessa! You lived like a tupper, you died like a trooper. NEVER FORGET.

  11. i bet if you put one of those shaker cup whisk balls that sald dressing would blend even better

  12. Unfortunately most people don't have plain flour or baking soda at home cause baking from scratch is more expensive and time consuming. Personally i like making from scratch and your videos are great

  13. as for jars , always buy coffee with the rubberised seal lids , the jars alone are worth ore than its contents

  14. home made curry sauces and condiments is where its at , if it requires no baking or high cost energy then its worth it ,but it depends on time, time is money, if it takes u an hour to prep and cook food thats like £30 of labour cost , is it worth saving a few quid to spend an hours worth of labour ? whe nu could just done overtime at work, but if cooking is a hobby, then i got no disagreements

  15. you should try adding egg and milk powders to the pancake mix so it's just add water and go

  16. but when the oven costs you £2 to bake it anyway, for £2 can just buy the bars, no thanks to liebours net zero BS

  17. You could make your own breads too.

Instead of using passata, I use diluted tomato paste.

Homemade yogurt to go with the granola,
and some fresh cheese made from milk curdled with the yogurt, to go on the bread. The extra whey byproduct goes into the bread dough (or pizza).

  18. You can't make hummus using Brussel sprouts. Hummus is the Arabic word for chickpeas.
Technically, the correct name of the dip is "hummus bi-taḥīnah" (chickpeas with tahini) but has been colloquially shortened to hummus.

You can use anything in place of the chickpeas and treat it the same way with the same ingredients but you can't call it hummus.

What you made would be called a Brussel sprout with tahini dip.

Anyway, why call it something it's not?
