  1. In Chinese kitchens in Malaysia, it's common to hear "hot water" whenever something critical, like a tub of hot liquid, is making its way towards you as an alert shout.

  2. This video is actually remind me about myself at the very first time working in the kitchen. But i wish my chef was teach the way you did Joshua

  3. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

  4. Soooo…let us consider this…ya taught the basics of moving around in the kitchen, how to dice something, and informed them that's it's ok that improvise….
Ironically….about as much training as all new server hires get…

  5. PAPA can you make Vietnamese Jellied pork (thแป‹t ฤ‘รดng) for the next video? It's one of the iconic foods in the Lunar New Year in Vietnam. It's pork and wood ear mushrooms (sometimes thinly sliced โ€‹โ€‹pork ears are added) are simmered with water so that the fat melt out and mixes into the broth, then the meat and mushrooms and broth are added to a bowl, plastic box or some container. Refrigerate overnight, after taking it out, eat immediately with hot rice. It's freaking good so I hope you'll make it Papa Josh

  6. U know, some of uncle Roger's dialogue is actual typical Asian (Chinese) uncle's dialogue. I.e:
    1) "u know after u eat, everything will turn into mush." (Non-appreciation on presentation. Sometimes, those uncles will just ask u to hurry up, get the damn thing to them."
    2) at the end of video –"ok, whatever u say" (criticize your previous words)
    3) it is also classic when uncle Roger teach him back on how to stir (do something). Uncles love to teach u what they think is better.
