After 15 years of living in their awkward attic space in the Toronto Beaches, these homeowners turned to designer Emily Griffin to reimagine their principal bedroom and ensuite. “Everything was very small, very awkward and very wrong,” says Emily. See how the Toronto designer totally transformed the small space with luxe design moves and dreamy storage solutions. From a freestanding tub with sunset views to wall-to-wall bedroom millwork, you don’t want to miss this must-see attic reno.

Incredible transformation
Wow,wowwww… Amazing transformation…!!!!????????
She did an amazing job..Wow! I love the wallpaper in the toilet.
Wow, beautiful transformation!!!
Beautiful. Love the built ins. I would have leaned a little more with the color blush, but that’s just me. The marble slab is divine, pure luxury
Well done! It's the same considerations I make when I design. (Thank you for not using 'design speak')
Its lovely transformation
A place to put a glass of wine or your pipe, if alcohol is not your drug of choice.
So beautiful. Congratulations to all trades involved.
Superb! I love the subtlety of the design. So calm and dreamy.
This is so well done ! There isn't a single element that doesn't look intentional and fabulous ! LOVE the soft, restful colours in the bedroom and the wallpaper pattern repeated on the bed. Just perfect ! ❤
This was a fun one. The before was crazy.
As a general contractor in the philadelphia area, I feel for the plumber on that job! That's NIGHTMARE installation…I'm going to guess it took at least 6 months to do. I imagine it cost about 250K as well…
The 'before' was so funny and awkward. I give the owners props for making it work to begin with before the transform. Fantastic work by the designer. Miraculous transformation.
Beautiful transformation!!!
Yes, the "before" is definitely "very awkward and very wrong!" The "after" has said "bye bye" to all the oddities and this master is now so classy and lacking in nothing!
Brilliant…in every way!
This is so gorgeous and functional!????????????????????????
This is an amazing transformation! I'd love to see and before and after floor plan.
Really stylish & tasteful. (I will be glad when the stand-alone tub phase disappears…aesthetic yes, but prohibitive to many folks who are physically unable to use them.)
What a wonderful transition! I love the little water closet! The wallpaper is just gorgeous, and it was so lovely to see those colours replicated on the bed. I am so tired of neutrals, but this was neutral done extremely well, with a good dash of colour sprinkled in. I would be very happy to while away a nice spa day there!
Beautifully done!
What a stunning transformation! Every detail was so carefully considered. I love Emily Griffin's work and I could listen to her talk about it all day — she has one of the most mellifluous voices!
Lovely transformation, calm, clean and beautiful
Loved everything except the water closet.
Wow!❤️❤️❤️
