Got it… so no to great value?
Such helpful tips! Thank you so much!❤
I read that Bertolli is not true olive oil but California Ranch is.
I really try to avoid Walmart when it comes to my food shopping but it is definitely okay to get packaged items but the fresh produce is really low quality, and I feel it's only gotten worse. I totally agree with all your recommendations though ????
Love this!!!
Barilla is good, but the Rao's next to it is the best imo
I like these type of videos keep up the good work. thanks you.
Rao’s is superior to Barilla and California olive is better than bertolli of course this is my opinion.
I also understand shopping on a limited budget and in that case spend any available money you can on the ingredients that will make the largest impact on the meal.
In this case I’d happily buy the barilla and bertoli oil and get a higher quality tomato if I was making spaghetti marinara.
Can your own tomato’s folks, it’s so easy….if you can’t grow your own, then get them by the bushel from your local produce market! It’s so much better tasting and so much better for you…
Please do this but at Aldi ❤ it would be super helpful
Laura, do you know that Sclafani is canned near you in Williamstown. I think it is the last working cannery in NJ. As a kid the farm I worked on hauled our tomatoes to that cannery, but back then Campbells was still operating in Camden and another local cannery in Folsom.
Tuttorosso is so much better than all the others. I find they're also way more expensive and my Walmart doesn't carry 'em. I recently moved here, I miss my Tuttorosso tomatoes. ),:
bertolli is a notoriously adulterated olive oil. it is not 100% pure. they are being sued for this fraudulent product. that's why it costs less
Now Barilla has also made pasta worked with bronze ("Barilla al Bronzo") in red packets. If you can find that one, you can safely take it, because it is of higher quality than regular Barilla pasta. I as an Italian buy it here in Germany, it costs a little bit more but it is better. It has a lighter color with a rougher surface that absorbs the sauce better.
Wouldn't be Walmart without a box of pasta on the floor
