Too much sugar. Bad. Replace it with Stevia leaves.

Thank you! I'm excited to try this! 😅 I don't know why, but I've never thought of dunking the bottom of the bread/cake in a sauce.
@deepalichoudhary6404
Not chikpea flour .. khaman made with bengalgram flour called besan…
@user-yn2sv9rm8n
I've never seen or heard of this before in india
@omikrondraconis5708
Oh, I could have used this yesterday! What was intended as a vegan chocolate sponge turned out to be a muddy mess, even with tripple the baking time, but this looks (lack of chocolate aside) like what I was aiming for. Next time, for sure!
@plum_loco
The besan chickpea flour is from black/brown chickpeas and not the Kabuli Garbanzo Chick pea variety.
@Azazel-zo1gx
I can't believe someone who is not indian and not gujarati called it by the right name a khaman and not dhokla 😂
@pr1yad
Traditionally fermented batter is used. So that's also an option 😅
@Y0uKnowMyName
Dude straight up lied to is from the start! Not chickpeas but chickpea flour!
@giuliagiuliana

WOW!!!!!! Looks soooo good!

The flavor combo sounds so good, I love ginger and hot chile with sweet flavors 😋 I haven't tried much Indian food but it always has the best combinations of spices and herbs. This sounds so sweet-savory, like a perfect summery afternoon tea snack.
