  2. I've been looking for a tool to accurately drill dowel holes in the middle of a face of a board and replicate it and I think that second tool might do the trick. I've used a jig to do this, but they quickly become out of spec.

  3. I like my Fastcap Lefty/Righty tape measure but I like the dual-sided one too, I need a Mad-Scientist to merge them together please!

  4. That's a clever idea for the track holder; easy to make if your track won't fit, too.

  5. Thanks James for those great video's !!! I am from Europe, so often I can't buy those cool stuffs ("Cool Tool's"), since they are often sold in US OR the shipping and import taxes would make them far tooo expensive – BUT I can't wait for each video since they showing often really great tools (I also use Narex chisels (and other tools) since they are from the country I am living 😁 )

  6. Thanks for showing us useful tools. You’re getting close to the 1M sub mark, well deserved.

  7. I bought the milescraft tracksaw kit because of you, and it looks like I need to buy the square as well.

  8. I found the Kreg tracksaw set to be rather underwhelming and for some reason it was quite frustrating fitting my circ saw onto the sled. Is the Milescraft that much better?

  9. There are a bunch of those Lufkin tapes in the clearance aisle at the Lowe's near me haha

  10. Thanks for another great video. It would be nice if someone would make a track hanger system where you could hang multiple tracks on 1 set of hangers (stacked on top of each other) rather than having to use a separate hanger for each single track. I just don't have the wall space for all 4 of my tracks so I keep them in 2 soft cases but it's a bit annoying to have to zip them in and out.

  11. just realized that youtube took it upon themselves to unsubscribe me from your channel. haven't seen a video in 4-5 months at least, and that's why. i will never pay them a dime with the bullshit they pull

  12. I have finally beaten you, Stumpy Nubs…now the student has become the master–I ALREADY HAVE THE MILESCRAFT TRACK SAW.

  13. God couldn't you make a track saw bracket it takes less than 5mins with off cuts as well please we need to be using our intelligence and knowledge we are carpenters and diyers not idiots you can plug rubbish plastic stuff

  14. Okay an apron that dust doesn't stick to? I'm sold. My black apron looks like it lives in the sand.

  15. My 20 something year old tape measure broke this weekend. Perfect timing, I purchased the lufkin through your link.

  16. Ive said this more times than i can count, milescraft, as a brand, is hands down the highest quality budget friendly tools on the msrket. I dont know how they do it.

  17. I already got a different brand of a saw guide a bunch of years ago. Don't even know what brand it is. Mine has two pieces of aluminum angle, one for the 4 ft width of sheet goods, and the other for the 8 ft length. You just screw them to a piece of quarter inch plywood and cut off the excess with your saw on the track. The cut edge will be what you line up with your cut line. It will never change unless possibly if you change blades. It has a guide you attach to your saw that rolls on the aluminum angle. You can take it on and off the saw, but I found it easier to leave it on a dedicated saw. I have not seen one like it for sale in many years. I forget which catalog I got it out of; most of those businesses are gone now anyway.
I always use it outside, so the dust doesn't matter.

  18. Hard to believe they don't make the track saw hangers adjustable. It wouldn't be hard to have something slide to a specific length & then lock in place. Or you could just measure what track saw you have & make your own hangers out of wood & basic hardware.

  19. I read this as "square holes" and got excited. Hey, no shade, square cuts are useful too.
