What a great way to test out different color schemes! Keeping all else constant you can try out different acrylic paint colors to see how the react. Each color will make you feel a certain way and the eye can interpret it differently. I like each of these paintings for different ways. This experiment can be done on tiles, small canvases, or left over canvases that you want to reuse. Let e kow which color palette is your favorite! Hope you enjoy the video! I may be weird, actually, I know I'm weird, but I'm not crazy about cells unless they look like lacing.
I thought I was going to like the purple and pink the most, but I like the blue and yellow the most. They are al all lovely, though.

I am going to have to try using more base colours, and this video has me inspired to do this.
I have tried a few using this very same technique, but always using a white base. Space, sea, and northern lights theme I've used a different base colour.

I have a hack for you molly. When i do my paint mixing i grab a kitchen strainer that i use just for paint and i strain the paint into another container, that way any lumps left behind wont get into tge painting
