I still use my Yankee screwdriver despite it being over 40 years old. I like to use it on special jobs. 😊nice work.
I'm an Irish American. I'm a straight male. I am married and I would f*** this guy just for the accent😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why use copper nails? Because they're lighter or they rust slower?
Dumb question…why couldn’t you soak it in the black goo? (couldn’t figure out how to spell it)
Epic project – and cheers to yer Ma for sewing skills.
This is why carpenters where worth their weight in gold in ancient times
Rivets would be a better fixture aluminum
This is inspiring me to try my hand at building one
Nice Yankee Screwdriver!
Bruh…everyone knows you don't use bitumen, you gotta Flex-Seal that mo-fo.
i thought a person who operated a sewing machine was known as a sewer ??
its so nice to hear the use of impregnate outside of the sexual context
Ach, and it's a ting of beauty. Tanks lads and mam❤
This is the life i want: a house out in the peaceful woods, making stuff and just. Having. Quiet.
damn… cool stuff!
But you live in Missouri, why the fake accent?
Once I read a book about this kind of ships. The Brendan Voyage by Tim Severin. The Hungarian title was Brendan expedition. Pretty good book, very interesting, and those guys were great sailors.
does the wood get any oil or so?
brass nails? looks good
would you not want to keep the excess cloth on untill after the final stretch so you have more to grip and pull with
Life time dream of mine
Guys, guys, gloves and a bit of protection. Bitumen alll over. Not great.
I can't imagine sewing the canvas by hand. I do a bit of hand sewing on occasion, and it makes my fingers hurt just thinking of it. Along with air conditioning, the sewing machine is a god-tier invention.
I use a yankee everyday at work. I like useful antiques
