  1. Don't give up on those odd corners for storage. Maybe use access from inside but cutting out a smallish hole in the divider.

  2. When curf cutting, can’t you leave the curfs on the back side, giving the inside of the cabinet a finished look?

  3. First, I must say that I really enjoy your channel. I get a lot of great ideas from it.
My suggestions for the wall and door. Unless your cabinetry in the main section sticks out far enough to interfere with the door to the bed, I would make the door the same width as the bed. As for the door, in most RV’s some of the doors are accordion types going from side to side. Personally, I found that instead of that I used a roll-type retractable blind. Then for rigidity, I mounted it into tracks on both sides (“both” not “either”. Either is one or the other, not both) and had it retract up so it remains out of the way.
    I hope this helps you.

Sorry about being a word Jerk, but I spent over 20 years in broadcasting. So it messes with my OCD. ????

  4. I always think it's crazy when people add concrete or granite countertops and ceramic tile to RVs… I guess they don't mind hauling around an extra 1000 pounds of unnecessary weight!

But, I've watched you build a boat and a treeless treehouse where you don't know what you are doing… And they both turned out great! Now the real question is where are you going to mount that boat?!

  5. You must REEEAAALLLY want the nick-name Popeye. Wear eye protection!

  6. Pay attention to any hard corners or edges surrounding any mattresses. It’s easy to injure yourself hitting them. I’d round them for comfort and safety.

  7. I say still use that inner trianglelike space on thoose side storage as extra. The more the better.

  8. Just a quick thought, keep a check on the weight front to rear, and the nose weight.

  9. I spend half my camping trip repairing stuff, but I take my trailer off-road. However I would recommend you find ways to reenforce the furniture from damage due to potholes and other nasty surprises. There ways to do this with minimal weight increase. In particular overhanging shelves

  10. Looks great so far! You can always weigh the trailer at some truck scales. Not sure if you did it empty or not. Maybe worth doing that now and then at the end. Also, you could always keep account of the full sheets you used and weigh the scraps to get a pretty accurate amount of weight. Also, you might be of what up at the nose verses the tail. Heaviest over the axles. Will effect how the well the trailer pulls.

  11. Great job. The storage units move be great for electric outlets and light controls.

  12. I would have just made a front face frame for the units either side of the bed and just screwed a batten to the wall to sit the oak top on. Would have saved on material time and weight. Loving the build so far. ????????
