BelGioioso mascarpone is NASTY!!! Choose a different brand like Vermont Creamery’s
This is an amazing recipe. Make sure you use amazing mascarpone (Whole Foods sells a pretty decent one) though!! When I made this cake in Italy with Italian mascarpone it was out of this world. I made it again in the US and I used BelGioioso and it wasn’t nearly as good.
Also, you can use way less sugar for the cake than it’s listed on the recipe. I found it very sweet. But great recipe, great paring, everyone loved it
