Ambitious Card Routine (Performance Breakdown)

In this week’s Performance Breakdown I’ll be showing my performance of the ambitious card to Jensen, an ambitious 7th grade girl who wants to be a singer. The Ambitious Card is an effect, a routine in itself, where a spectator’s signed card continuously, through increasingly seemingly impossible conditions, rises to the top of the deck. After the performance there will be a breakdown of me explaining step by step what I did, when I did it, and why I did it.

  1. Great video..but the trick was too fast as half the audience didnt 'get it'..sell the trick

  2. So i know you probably don’t read these comments anymore and I discovered your channel way too late to see new consistent content but aside from how awesome these breakdown videos are… this is literally how I feel the ambitious card should be performed. With how you did the speech. I never liked the “you’re connected to the card the cards shy blah blah” stuff it’s called ambitious card and using the term Ambition for what it actually is.. that’s brilliant and now I want to actually start using the ambitious card because of this video and come up with my own speech. Thank you haha

  3. you were awsome but i think you must laugh a little bit in the performance and that was awsume and intelligent

  5. Hello Jarek! Man, I'm starting to learn some magic tricks now. I allways liked magic, but never had te balls to try to do it for my self. But recently I've discovered your channel (when I was starting), and beyond a great teacher, you are beeing a great inspiration for me. The routine you made for this girl was beautiful, I'm pretty shure that you create some unforgetttable thing to her. It was pure heart.

I'll try to do people arround me happy too, here in Brazil. And maybe, some day, I'll be able to perform this routine for my future patients (I'm joining a medical college hehe), or my children, and if I take a smile from them, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT TOO! Thanks man, rise above!!

  6. As usual you did a nice tutorial. I'm sure someone has told you that you have a good voice to entertain, your voice is strong and clear. If you make it to my age you will be a genuine wizard. You younger guys have it made with these video tutorials. I use to struggle trying to learn a effect from a book back in the 70's, then the vhs cassettes came out and really helped those of us who had a hard time with a book. Magic Art. Las Vegas

  7. Lol, this guy progressed in America's Got Talent last year using this exact routine, except instead of the card in his shoe, it was in a mint box.
