If you’re looking for an easy Game Day recipe, these puff pastry ham sandwiches are the answer!
INGREDIENTS
– 2 sheets (17.3 oz) puff pastry
– 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
– 2 tbsp jam of choice
– 8 slices ham
– 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese or Gruyére cheese (or a mixture of both)
– 1 egg, beaten
INGREDIENTS
1. On a lightly floured surface, roll out both sheets of puff pastry slightly, just to smooth (about 10 x 12 inches). Set one piece of puff pastry aside. With one sheet of puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush the Dijon mustard evenly within 1 inch of all sides. Add the jam and spread it to within 1 inch of all sides. Layer the slices of ham on top of the jam and mustard, followed by the cheese. Brush the exposed 1 inch of puff pastry with an egg wash.
2. Place the other sheet of puff pastry on top, matching up the edges. Dip a fork in flour and use the tines to seal the edges. Brush the top of the puff pastry with egg wash and use a knife to create nine small vents.
3. Bake in a preheated 400°F for 20-25 minutes. Once baked, remove and let cool slightly before slicing into pieces.

Everything you make causes my mouth to water in anticipation! I want to run to the kitchen to make this. Thank you for simplifying inspirational & seriously yummy food! Almost everything I have tried from your recipes have been a hit! I learned from your curry inspired pickled veggies that I’m allergic to curry. But everything else? Chef’s kiss!
Super cool idea!! Love your enthusiasm ! 😘
That looks so amazing and even I could make it. Thanks for sharing. I’m a very bad cook. My fiancé has to cook everything. Love you so much. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve done this with feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and artichoke hearts. Delicious!

In spain (my area specifically) we make "coca de atún y huevo" it's a puff pastry filled with tomato sauce, tuna and chopped boiled eggs… we have it as a late lunch and I think you'd really like it!! There's plenty tutorials here just don't click the ones that put pisto in it too lol Love your channel btw🥰🥰
So your fun, just found you and I am eggsited to see all your lovely recipe's. I am making the quick bread and butter pickles this afternoon.
Caleb, I made your cranberry sliders a couple of nights ago. We ate them all up. They were delish. Thanks for all your great recipes.
Like that you can use what you have on hand. This looks delicious. I can see how other combinations would work.
Great snack to take to a brewery or winery.
Everything you make makes me salivate. Thank you for sharing all your recipes. I enjoy watching you. ❤
Looks delicious!!!
I love.
This it's like a grown up pop tart❤
If you don't feel like good it's illogical to basically make a sandwhich using puff pastry when you could just toast some bread and use the exact same ingredients for a toasted sandwhich. This is tasty but actually takes more effort if that's the purpose of the video.
Wow! What a great idea for a simple supper tonight. I’ve got a package of puff pastry in my freezer, Dijon mustard, ham, Swiss cheese, and I’ll use a jar of fig & onion spread from my pantry. A fresh tossed salad, and a glass of wine will help balance it out. Thanks for sharing!
Wouldn't have thought of mixing mustard and jam, this looks interesting!
