Today, I prepared one of Gilan’s authentic dishes called Anarbij.
Using fresh ingredients like sour wild pomegranate juice, fresh herbs, and fresh meat ensures that this delicious dish will have the perfect taste you’re looking for.
One important tip to keep in mind is, as you saw in the video, I mixed half of the herbs with the meat and sautéed the other half separately.

🔴Ingredients for 5 servings:
500 g Ground Meat
200 g Walnuts
300 g Aromatic Herbs (Iranian Leek or Allium Iranicum
, Parsley, Mint, Ziziphora, and Flat Sea Holly)
1 Cup Sour Pomegranate Juice
2 Tablespoons Pomegranate Paste
2 Medium Onions
1 Teaspoon Powdered Persian Hogweed (Golpar)
Salt and Black Pepper Powder to taste
