  3. If you put some bigger bottle on top of bucket and make drop by drop you will save water 💦

  5. landscape fabric and coco coir on the bottom of bucket. Those 2 will hold moisture more so less runoff. Use a auto water bulb. so it goes slow in watering.

  8. Very interesting to see and a great video as always but people are commenting and calling this an experiment. There needs to be a much larger sample size in order for it to be called an experiment. One or two plants will pretty much never give you any meaningful data since there are too many variables affecting growth.

  10. Cut the hole in the side of the bucket a few inches up from bottom. Water will pool and no glueing required. What do you think?

  12. Try planting tomatoes in your eavetroughs.
    They can trail up the roof and down the walls!

  15. very nice and fun experiment, i think cherry tomato was perfect choice as a larger tomato may have more blossom end rot issues, keeping the roots cool on hot summer days sounds like be biggest challenge but thats same for any tomato in a pot. 🙂
