  1. I’m a logger and we had to take the chainsaw safety class the DB that you’re reading is from the chain turning on the clutch that’s what they were really concerned about for hearing loss the high pitch whine of the chain turning

  2. I have a Stihl appetite on a Ryobi budget ! I really don't like the battery thing for cars but it definitely has its place in power tools.

  3. Great review! I was wondering when you were going to test those electric saws out, it would be great to use if you’re cutting wood early in the morning or late evening and don’t want to disturb the neighbors.

  4. Hi Mike, love your channel and watch it everyday. So, I know you have considered the risk of electric chain saws eating through chainsaw pants due to the constant torque they have. That risk has me wondering if it’s worth it for me going electric. I would love to hear your thoughts on that aspect of going electric. Thanks again for all your content.

  5. Having three speeds, or ECO boost, might be nice, but I cannot see myself using anything other than FULL POWER!
Why would a person want to run a saw slower than what it is capable of, even if just "limbing" a tree.
The extra 3/4 lbs could be an issue at the end of the day, and it could add up after a long day.
I would like to try one for sure!

  6. for a guy that sells wood, make the call, u got an opinion on everthing else,

  7. For my needs this would be absolutely perfect
I don't cut wood or trees but that occasional blow down is certainly a need for one
I'm currently in the market for a cordless weed eater

  8. go back to the old days m,,n mm, i can watch commercials on tv, channel sucks now

  9. Yeah you got 650 miles in your f150 but how long does it take to fill up and go another 650 I seen them charging that hummer on reg home plug and it took like 4 or 5 days I can't remember you never know what might happen if u had to get across the country as fast as you can and u couldnt fly that is the stuff I think about you never know

  10. The decking was causing a resonance that made the battery saw seem louder. It was not even close. Also try if from 10 feet and the battery saw will be whisper quiet.

  11. Mike your ears don’t deceive you. The measurement of sound pressure decibels are not linear so the petrol saw is much louder.
    Nice comparison.

  12. Hello Mike , as life goes, most times I like your videos other times not so much . But 1 thing a viewer can always count on is your objectivity !
