*I forgot to mention in the video that we did not stain the beams because the color already translated really well to the lighter woods in the space but if you have darker wood tones in your space, you can always stain them before installing them! *

  1. Silly question but do you remember what tv wall hanger did you use? I like that you can’t see all the cords from the side. Beautiful room. The shelves look great.

  2. We have an antique cedar chest. We’ve had it forever. I want a bench of some kind. The cedar chest is always covered with clothes. So I wan to move it somewhere else in the house.An get a nice bench. So my husband can put his shoes on sitting on the bench and not wake me up. I’m a night owl,and he’s an early riser. So either he o one of the dogs wake me everyday.

  6. So much great design inspo, Jenna! I love all the cozy and textural elements you’ve incorporated into this cozy retreat. I had to smile, though, when you talked about your PB faux fur throw. I have one, too, and it’s my very favourite thing to toss over me when I’m going to bed or taking a nap. It’s like a soft, weighted blanket and I love that feeling. When you shared the Target dupes recently, I snagged a creamy white and a beige one when they were on an $18 deal. Not PB, which are overpriced, but still cozy and soft, and gorgeous decor accents so super buys!! P.s. I also had to order that flowy blue & white maxi dress you were wearing; it’s my very first Shein purchase.

  15. the shelves make the bedroom look smaller and they are very cluttered, it looks like a living room now not a bedroom. I liked it better before it was calming and peaceful.
