Hey Mark…on your jig for cutting the sandpaper down for the Preppin Weapons, what is the edge material that your bending the sandpaper over? Is it a blade? Thx
I made a cutting board not too long ago. I wound up with way too much glue on the board, especially under the cauls where the glue had pooled. I left the board in the clamps for 24 hours, which is not in that sweet spot that you spoke about. I don't have a thickness planer or drum sander, so I tried using a hand plane to get the glue off. The hand plane was ripping as much wood as it was glue. I eventually gave up and started sanding. It looks great now, but the next time I make a cutting board I will refer to this video.

I was pretty indifferent when this popped up but woodworking pov was more interesting than I thought it would be

I had no idea how old your channel was when I started following I don't even know how long ago, but I was pretty surprised when I saw a video from 7 years ago of stumpy nubs referring to that whisper guy and then seeing you've been at it since 2006. On the youtubes that's pretty crazy

Lots of people talk about affordable planers but not much about jointers. Is there a jointer that is under $1,000 worth having?
I loved this type of video, seeing where your actually placing your hands or how youre holding the wood when running it through the machines was very helpful.
