23 tons for the chain,? A bit heavier then that cousin
I'm getting mine next Tuesday. So excited 😂😂
I had to buy my anchor chains on my ship like this .
To think that something that colossal can still be tossed around like a grain of sand by the waves in the ocean😮
Nice Danforth anchor
Hollow and cast = good corrosion resistance? How?
200 million that's not a lot but wait a minute free anchors that's a deal😂.
200 million something an average joe can afford
Would you trust Chinese Steel
Anchors are not accessories , for sizeable ships the equipment list , required by law, requires the ship to be fitted with two anchors and chains plus a spate anchor. The sizes of chain and weight cof anchor which is solid cast and forged steel is specified by the equipment list .
Those hands don't look like they've done much work.
Bow is pronounced "bough"
Wrong…. The actor does not hold the ship in place. The weight of the chain holds it in place. The anchors only job is to pull the chain out of the chain locker….
Average person huh. You're an idiot.
200 mil I think you're a little off
In 1968, I bought a sailboat (5-0-5) for about $2500 with trailer, sails, and other accessories. Shortly after I bought it, I read about the tanker Globtik Tokyo, one of the first supertankers. From what I read, with financing and assorted help from Japan, where it was built, and from the country whose flag it would be flying, the owners down payment was about the same as what I paid for my 5.05-meter sailboat.
You’re full of ship. Most people can’t afford that.
