  1. Love the mask and astronaut suit too funny. Also, if u asked the AI the exact same recipes would it make new ones or r they all the exact same

  2. The results for the first two dishes aren't surprising, have you seen online recipes? So much aversion to salt. Guess where the AI scrapes for training data?

  3. Obviously AI isn’t going to understand the nuances of finer cooking, at least not yet… as a chef I’ve played around with it a little bit and been very surprised how it can spit out recipes so quickly.

Something I like to do is give it a number of random ingredients, like 3-10 totally random food items and tell it to make me a recipe. It could be an extraordinarily useful tool in a kitchen if used in such a way. It can write menus, it can come up with fine dining plates or very basic dishes based on the parameters you set for it.

Obviously recipes would have to be adjusted for a human palate.. but I still find the tool extremely interesting.

  4. eh, would be more fair if they got a normie to do Josh's recipe. Or a professional chef to do the AI recipe.

  5. @mcnasty they made a burger with your name on it (they dident name it about you just happened to be mcnasty)

  6. You need to ask the right question when asking an AI for anything. "Best" is a bit subjective.
You could ask for something like "a fancy juicy steakhouse hamburger recipe," and you'd probably get a different recipe.

  7. I think this would be so much more funnier if you gave the recipes to the staff to cook and then taste test 🤣 Just for more entertainment 👍

  8. Joshua, chatGPT works as well as the prompts you provide. It has been fed a massive amount of information but when the majority of articles present a simple burger as "the best", chatGPT will not know the difference. So maybe you should play around with more keywords like "luxurious" or "gourmet" or something. You need to provide more information on what you actually need for it to work better! 🙂

  9. Not too long from now, when AI's get smarter and people get dumber, we will arrive at a time when the AI's decide to get rid of those dumb primates. Never thought the writers of Terminator could ever be right, but here we are.
