  1. I used to live in Ottawa close to their original location and this place is the best. Everything they make is amazing – all of your comfort favourites but with the best ingredients.

  2. Thats nothing. Abdou Express in Calgary has the best donairs in WORLD , the Rest ALL COPY each other, ton of garlic and toast the bread. They sell 3000 donairs a day

  3. 22.50 for that nastiness?!? That has the old ladies of Wendy's going WHERE'S THE MEAT?!

THAT IS NOTHING like an EAST COAST DONAIR! That is straight BOO BOO THE FOOL with toppings. GOOD NOVA SCOTIA DONAIR has MEAT, SWEET SAUCE, CHOPPED RAW RED ONIONS, and DICED TOMATOES and that is BLEEPING it. NO LETTUCE, TURNIP, none of that crap!

Also usually like HALF A POUND of DONAIR meat for a "small" donair too.

  4. w tf? that is not east coast
tomato, onion, sauce.. that's it bro.

    ddint even shave the meat…

  5. What season and episode is this? Strange this isn’t in the description so you can watch the full one.

  6. A Donair…an East Coast Canadian spin on what?
    A Gyro.
    OK so not a Doner?
Whatever….Greek, Turkish…its all the same to us!! ????

  7. I have NEVER heard of this type of sandwich before, I don't remember it ANYWAY. Either way it look pretty good.

  8. As a Canadian who knows all about what a Halifax Donair is this is a total cheat and falsehood of what a Donair is. No spit.

  9. Salt/meat 70 /30 then more salt, shove your salt, why don’t you learn to cook.

  10. Nah bro a real donair is greasy, has yellow onion, tomato’s, lettuce and the sauce, MAYBE a little cheese and pepperoni, and the beef should look more like bacon strips than spam, also anything extra is throwing off the balance, the sauce In itself should be sweet and a little bit spicy, which blends well with the raw onion, lettuce for crunch, tomato for moisture

  11. Yeah… I don't know what that thing is. But it's not a donair.
Here in Nova Scotia, my donair meat gets sliced from a dirty, greasy, old log that's been rotating between heating elements for at least 10 hours in the open air. Slap on some onions and some sauce that you know is gonna be cold, but you're always slightly surprised when you bite in and find out that it's cold… Done.
If you're a real weirdo, you can toss on a few bits of diced tomato. That's it though. Nothing else goes on a donair. Because that would make it… Not a donair.

  12. this is literally nothing at all what you would see on the east coast. lettuce? jalapeños? …..oh buddy
