This is my best weight loss version of baked oats so far!! It has more protein and less sugar than the others. The data looks epic to honest. 40g of protein and 10g of fibre. Tonnes of micros. It’s a 9/10 for fullness.

Nutrition – 500 kcal (40P, 61C, 14F)

Ingredients-

60g oats
50g carrot (grated)
200g greek yogurt (0%)
2 medium eggs
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder

Just mix everything together and bake for 30 minutes at 200C. I served mine with a little yogurt and fruit compote as it kind of needs the moisture for me. And a cup of tea.

  2. Looks good! Though, after thinking about it and reading a few of the comments, do you think replacing one of the eggs with apple sauce would make the texture more bread/cake-y? I know that's taking out some protein and structure, but would it still work?

  3. but its made of all stuff that isnt sweet. Its not cake. It looks like cake, but tasts like carrot eggs and plain eggs with a bit of seasoning.

  4. Hummm.. its definitely got nothing to do with weight loss apart from he added no sugar. The oats are carbohydrates they turn to sugar though oats might be healthy otherwise but not if you got diabetes. Well I think so anyway πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  6. You can also make carrot cake oatmeal: oats, shredded carrots, milk, walnuts or pecans, raisins, sweetener of choice (I use date syrup) and spices (cinnamon, nutmeg).
