Asian Noodle Salad

Level: Easy
Ingredients
Salad:
8 ounces thin spaghetti
One 8-ounce bag julienne/fine-cut carrots (about 1 1/2 cups)
One 6-ounce bag baby sweet peppers, seeded and sliced thinly into rings (about 1 cup)
One 4-ounce bag bean sprouts (about 1 cup)
3 English cucumbers, halved, seeds removed and sliced
3 scallions, sliced
Up to 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 head or more napa cabbage, sliced
1/2 head or more purple cabbage, sliced
1/2 bunch kale, leaves torn off the stalks and shredded
2 cups peanuts, chopped
Dressing:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
Directions
For the salad: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti to al dente according to the package directions. Drain, rinse and let cool.
Mix together the cooked spaghetti, carrots, peppers, bean sprouts, cucumbers, scallions, cilantro, napa cabbage, purple cabbage and kale. Add the peanuts and toss together.
For the dressing: Whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, sesame oil and garlic in a medium bowl.
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix together with tongs or your hands. If the salad seems a little dry, just mix up a little more of the wet ingredients of the dressing and throw it in. It’s a very organic process.
Transfer to a large platter and serve.

???? modern style patio bench –
I build a bench for my patio! I did not create the design, I got inspire from other builders for this one.
I needed something that I can place outdoors, next to my pool, so I can have a seating option and be able to lay towels and other pool supplies on top of.
Its a simple build that I paid about $35 in supplies for. You can’t beat that for a modern style bench.
For the finish I used Minwax wood stain and as a protector I used Polyurethane spray because of all the nooks I can not fit in a paintbrush easily. It gives a quick and even finish.

This creamy white chicken chili recipe is slow-cooked with chiles, caramelized onions, beans, spices, and shredded chicken for a delicious, comforting soup. You may never eat regular beef chili again after trying this. It’s that good.
White chicken chili, also known as white chili or chicken chili, is a hearty soup consisting of white beans, chiles, spices, and chicken. While there is no concrete history of the creation of this soup, many believe it to have originated in the Southwest region of the United States during the 1970s to 1980s. The flavors of chicken chili don’t mimic that of a classical chili recipe due to the different ingredients used.
A traditional white chicken chili is thick using beans from the soup that are pureed and added back to it to give it thickness. It can also be thickened with a slurry or roux if need be. It is also commonly garnished with quite a bit of shredded cheese before serving. As with any soup recipe, more flavors will begin to marry and present themselves the next day after making it.

• 1-pound dry navy, cannellini, or great northern beans
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 peeled and medium diced yellow onions
• 1 whole roasting chicken
• 2 seeded and medium diced yellow onions
• 2 seeded and medium diced poblano peppers
• 2 seeded and medium diced jalapeños
• 2 medium diced ribs of celery
• 10 finely minced cloves of garlic
• 3 tablespoons ground cumin
• 1 tablespoon ground coriander
• 2 tablespoons dry oregano
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• sea salt and pepper to taste

White shirts are a foundational item in a Classic wardrobe but chances are if you own a white shirt, you’ve already had some experience with the difficulty of keeping them white.
Please note that this video is not about cleaning more general stains from white shirts.
01:20 Why Do White Shirts Discolor?
Discoloration on white shirts can assume a few forms from a general yellow or gray dinginess on the entire shirt to yellow patches in particular areas. The main culprit is body oils and sweat that settle into the shirt’s fabric and eventually become stains.
03:43 Removing Localized Stains
This will likely be concentrated around problem areas like armpits, collars, or cuffs. We’ll begin by applying a cleaning and whitening product directly to the stain. You can use specialized products or diluted liquid or powder detergent mixed with water.
If you prefer a more natural or homemade approach, you can use undiluted white vinegar or make a cleaning paste out of baking soda and water or hydrogen peroxide.
For particularly tough stains or stains that are old and thoroughly set, you can also use a bleach alternative that has many of the cleaning and whiting properties of chlorine bleach but won’t seriously damage most fabrics.
06:25 Removing General Discoloration
For situations in which the entire shirt seems to be discolored which sometimes happens with older, well-worn shirts, you can remove the yucky yellow or grimy gray with a revitalizing wash to restore the shirt’s original whiteness.
One of the easiest cleaning products to use will be a detergent specifically formulated for white fabrics. You can also use about two cups of baking soda.

17. Clean your washer
18. Dry on the gentle cycle or in the sun
19. Be aware of hard water
20. Store white shirts properly

Spring 2023 here has often felt wintry, with cool winds, occasional frosts (four in April), and a notable lack of sunshine through March. Just 66 hours in the whole month, less than in most Decembers.
Sowing and planting has continued in the rain, using my lineage of average best dates. No dig helps massively because we can access the ground in all weathers. And without causing compaction because the soil structure is firm, stable, yet open to roots.

Corie’s “Everyone’s Favorite Baked Ziti”
1 lb Italian Sausage
1 yellow onion, diced
1 jar pasta sauce
2 jars Alfredo sauce
1 lb box rotini noodles
Parmesan and mozzarella cheese
fresh parsley
Preheat oven to 350 F. Start water to boil noodles, and boil according to package directions.
Brown ground sausage and onions in a large skillet over med-hi. Once sausage is cooked, remove excess grease and pour in pasta sauce and mix. Let simmer on low (or turn off heat) while noodles finish.
Drain noodles and get as dry as possible. Return noodles to pot and pour in alfredo sauce. Mix until coated.
In a greased 9×13 casserole dish, spoon in noodles. Then spoon on the meat sauce mixture and spread evenly over the noodles. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Top with cheeses.
Cover with foil (spraying inside of foil to prevent cheese sticking to it) and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes. Then broil at the end until cheese is to your preference.
Add a little more parsley over top and serve!!!

Nick takes us on a tour of his stunning container home, built with recycled containers and renewable materials. This unique design is created from two 40′ containers, one cut in half, and the other stacked on top with an impressive cantilever. The inside features luxury amenities, including a steam shower, hot tub, and two full bedrooms. But this isn’t Nick’s first incredible build.
