5-ingredient Healthy & High-protein Chocolate Sheet Pan Pancakes😍 These pancakes are super easy to make and contain over 30 grams of protein per serving. They are soft, moist, chocolaty and delicious! This recipe is dairy-free & gluten-free!

This makes about 4 servings:
4 bananas
8 eggs
1 cup (vegan) chocolate protein powder (4 scoops / about 120g)
4 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
1 tablespoon baking powder
•
1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth
2. Pour into a baking pan lined with parchment paper
3. Bake at 180 Celsius degrees / 350 in Fahrenheit for about 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted to the center comes out clean
4. Serve with berries, for example!
5. Store in an air-tight container in the fridge

How to cook the ultimate roast chicken with Rejina Sabur-Cross | Recipe | Sainsbury's

Busy mum and food lover Rejina Sabur-Cross demonstrates how to cook the ultimate roast chicken and have enough leftovers to make two more delicious dishes.

In this episode of the Ultimate Roast Guide, Rejina is cooking with a chicken weighing about 2 kilos. This should feed a family of four, with enough leftovers to prepare family meals on Monday and Tuesday.

Preparation:
Take your chicken out of the fridge about 30 mins before roasting to bring it up to room temperature.
For an Indian take on roast chicken, mix 1 onion, a teaspoon of curry powder, 30g of butter, 2 cloves of garlic and a teaspoon of salt in a food processor and rub all over the meat.

Cooking:
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius or gas mark 6.
Roast the chicken for 20 minutes per 450g + 20 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes for this 2 kilo bird).
Increase the temperature to 250 degrees Celsius for the last 10 minute to achieve delicious crispy skin.
Remember to baste the chicken regularly to make the meat succulent and juicy.
Make sure the chicken is cooked all the way through by piercing the bird at the thickest part, if the juices run clear it is perfectly cooked.
Let the chicken rest for 20 mins under a foil tent whilst you make your delicious gravy.

Gravy:
Place your roasting tray on the hob over a low heat and stir in flour to thicken the gravy.
Gradually add stock whilst stirring and strain into a small saucepan.

Carving:
Remove the wings and follow the contours of the bird by slicing off the legs next.
Angle the knife slightly as you cut down the breast bone.
Turn the chicken over and pick out the oysters which are the delicious, delicate bits of the meat.

Leftovers:
Cool your leftover meat to room temperature and wrap in foil. These should last up to two days in the fridge.
Turn the carcass into stock by placing into a pan of cold water. Add carrots, onions, celery, bay leaves and simmer uncovered for around 4 hours.

Veggie Steamed Dumplings
RECIPE COURTESY OF ALTON BROWN
Level: Intermediate
Total: 50 min (includes sit time)
Active: 30 min
Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

8 ounces firm tofu
1/2 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup grated Napa cabbage
2 tablespoons diced red bell pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped scallions
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
35 to 40 small wonton wrappers
Vegetable oil, for coating parchment paper

Directions

Cut the block of tofu in half horizontally and put it between several layers of paper towels, set between two large plates, and top with a 28-ounce can from the pantry. Set aside for 20 minutes to extract as much whey as possible.

Cut the tofu into 1/4-inch cubes and place in a large mixing bowl along with the carrots, cabbage, bell pepper, scallions, ginger, cilantro, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, egg, salt and pepper. Toss by hand to combine.

To form the dumplings: Remove 1 wonton wrapper from the package, covering the others with a damp cloth. Brush the edges of the wrapper lightly with water. Place 1 rounded teaspoon of the tofu mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold into a triangle and then attach the ends, then brush two points with a little water and pinch together to make a wonton shape.

Bring a large pot of at least 3 inches of water to a low boil. Brush a parchment paper round lightly with oil, then place into a steamer basket. Place dumplings onto the parchment and cover the steamer with the lid. Steam dumplings for 15 minutes, until dough is cooked and center has cooked through. Remove dumplings from steamer and serve!

Jeff Ostroff reviews videos released by the U.S. Coast Guard of the doomed OceanGate Titan submersible wreckage sitting on the ocean floor just 330 yards from the bow of the RMS Titanic, which sank in 1912. The wreckage of the OceanGate Titan sub was recorded as rescuers discovered the debris field with the Pelagius Research ROV known as Odysseus 6000. The ROV Odysseus 6K is an easily transportable, extremely capable and deep-sea system that integrates into ships. The ROV supports executing time-critical search, rescue, and recovery operations.

Dinner ideas – Salisbury Steak

Salisbury Steak

Serves: 4
Prep time: 30 min
Cook time: 30 min

Ingredients
– 700g (1½ lbs) beef mince
– 100g (¾ cup) panko breadcrumbs
– 50ml (3½ tbsp) milk
– 1 onion, finely diced
– 1 tbsp mustard
– 6 dashes Maggi seasoning
– 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 onion, sliced (for the sauce)
– 500g (1 lb) mushrooms, sliced
– 4 cloves garlic, finely diced
– 50g (3½ tbsp) butter
– 50g (⅓ cup) flour
– oil for cooking
– 1L (4 cups) beef stock
– salt and pepper
– mashed potatoes and green beans, to serve

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. To make the Salisbury steaks, add the panko breadcrumbs and milk to a bowl and mix until the milk is absorbed.
3. Now add the beef, diced onion, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, 4g black pepper, 6g salt, Maggi seasoning, and garlic. Mix well until everything is combined.
4. Divide the mixture into 4 portions, roughly 200g (7 oz) each, and shape them into large beef patties.
5. Drizzle a little oil over the patties, place them on an oven tray, and roast for 15-18 minutes, or until almost cooked through.
6. While the beef is in the oven, start the sauce. Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Add the sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened and starting to colour.
7. Next, add the sliced mushrooms, season with a pinch of salt, and sauté until the mushrooms are browned.
8. Add the butter to the pan. Once melted, sprinkle in the flour and stir. Feel free to add any cooking juices from the beef once it’s cooked.
9. Cook the flour for 3-4 minutes, then start adding the beef stock, a little at a time, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Keep adding stock until the sauce reaches your desired consistency. I like my gravy relatively thick.
10. Once the sauce is ready, add the steaks back to the pan with the sauce to reheat and finish cooking. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
