Ingredients
½ cup (75g) plain flour
½ cup (80g) wholemeal plain flour
⅔ cup (145g) brown sugar
1 cup (90g) rolled oats
⅔ cup (55g) desiccated coconut
2 tbsp rosemary leaves, chopped
1 tsp sea salt
125g unsalted butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp bicarb soda
2 tbsp boiling water
sea salt flakes to serve
Method
Preheat the oven to 160°C fan forced (320°F). Line two large oven trays with baking paper.
Combine flours, sugar, oats, coconut and half the rosemary and salt in a medium bowl.
Place the butter into a saucepan on medium heat. Cook, swirling the pan occasionally, until the butter is deep brown in colour and smells nutty, about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and whisk in the golden syrup.
Combine the water and bicarb in a small bowl until dissolved, then stir into the butter mixture.
Add butter mixture into dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Roll heaped tablespoons of dough into firm balls, then place on prepared trays 5cm (2 inches) apart.
Press down lightly and sprinkle with remaining rosemary and salt.
Bake biscuits for 12-15 minutes (12 for chewy), swapping trays halfway through cooking, or until golden brown.
Cool on trays, then store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

Here is the detailed recipe of healthy tomato soup
*RECIPE*
1. Take 4 to 6 half cut tomorrow and cook them for 5 minutes along with 7 to 8 garlic seeds, a chopped onion, 8 coriander stem, along with 200 ml of water.
2. Now peel the tomatoes and mash them properly.
3. Now put the mixture in a blender and blend them well.
4. Now squeeze the tomato water from the mixture in a bowl.
4. Now take butter piece in a pan and pour the mixture in it. Stir it well and add 1 tsp of table salt.
5. Now add 100 ml of cornflour slurry and stir it along with 2 tap of ketchup and 1 tsp of black pepper.
6. Now garnish it with fried bread pieces and green coriander.
7. Your delicious and healthy tomato soup is ready.

In almost every country in Asia, beef tendon is enjoyed as a delicacy, and in many of those countries, the people attribute their soft and youthful skin to it.
The jury is still out whether or not consuming collagen truly has an effect on all the parts of your body that contains it (skin, hair, nail joints, etc.) but it seems a growing amount of studies are starting to conclude that the answer “is not no.”
Whether or not it actually helps it is extremely delicious and an essential component in many soups and noodle dishes throughout Asia. And still an extremely healthy ingredient for the amount of richness to a dish it provides.
Ingredients
500g flank steak, thinly sliced
1 tbsp water
½ tsp bicarb soda
2 tbsp cornflour
1½ tbsp Shaoxing wine
¼ cup (60ml) soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
450g fresh hokkien noodles
2 tbsp vegetable oil (or other neutral oil)
1 small brown onion, finely sliced
1 carrot, julienned
½ each of red, green and yellow capsicums (bell peppers), thinly sliced
4 spring onions, white and green parts separated, chopped
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 thumb-sized piece young ginger*, julienned
chilli crisp, to serve
Method
Combine water, bicarb soda, cornflour, 1 tbsp of Shaoxing and 2 tbsp of soy in a large bowl. Add beef and toss well to coat, then set aside to marinate.
Combine remaining Shaoxing, soy, oyster sauce and dark soy in a small bowl. Set aside.
Cook noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water, according to packet directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Cook beef in batches, tossing, until browned. Set aside.
Add onion and carrot, cook for 1-2 mins, until softened. Add capsicums, garlic, ginger and white part of onion. Cook a further 1-2 minutes to soften.
Return meat to the pan along with sauces and noodles. Toss well to combine and bring sauce to a simmer.
Stir through the green part of the onion. Serve with a drizzle of some chilli crisp if desired.
*If you can’t find young ginger, then use regular ginger and finely grate it.
We just put a curved roof on the new house we’re building- Let me show you exactly how we did it.
The truss company built trusses for this porch, but it was up to us to make the curve.
The plans call for a 22-foot radius on this roof.
To figure out the radius we used some string and scrap pieces of OSB.
We stretched the string out 22 feet, the length of the radius, then, tied a loop on the end to hold a marker.
Keeping the string tight, I traced the curve onto the OSB.
The framers traced the pattern they made onto ¾” subfloor and cut it out with a circular saw.
Next, they use glue and screws to laminate two pieces together, making them an 1 ½” thick- so they’re really strong.
They used a grinder with a flap disc to smooth out any unevenness.
Here you can see one of these curved rafters looked like put together.
The framers made four of these for the porch, plus a small one for the overhang.
I was really impressed with their work.
They used construction adhesive and screws to put down ½” CDX plywood- the plywood bends to the curve of the roof.
