  1. The steam function's gonna do sourdough baking a whole lot less of a headache, normally you would put the dough in a pre-heated cast iron sourdough pan, the one with the flat bottom and domed top that you spray water to keep steam in. This is to build that dark crispy crust which is almost fried by steam.

The hard part was preheating the pan keeping the steam inside and putting the dough inside the hot metals in the oven, cast iron pans and everything. In thoery, you just put the sourdough in there after pre-heating with the steam function on and do nothing else, no need to fiddle with hot metals and steam and everything.

  2. These ovens break down a lot without going into details of how I know I can tell you the elements inside go short to earth insanely frequently

  3. Been using one for almost 2 years now and it's been absolutely brilliant bar it needs cleaning way more often than a normal oven and the water container suffers from heat cracking, on my 2nd and current waiting for a 3rd one to replace it – it isn't leaking but I'm not waiting till it does as hit holds a lot of water.. You need to use the app to get the most out of it as you can't set say top and rear heating elements with the touch buttons. Any questions, fire away.

  4. Top moments:
    “Barry’s not even here” ????
“Under pressure… under vacuum” I was just saying that out loud ????

  5. Does 12 things badly vs doing 1 thing very well. I'd rather have the one thing very well ????

  6. This is good to have if you live in an apartment without a traditional oven.. And have money. Those two does not normaly go hand in hand

  7. I have never heard of “cloud” eggs before.
They are not a thing in America (or at least in Oklahoma)

  8. It seems like a useful gadget for someone who doesn't already know or have a way to do the things it does.
