  1. Omg omg omg seeing James again made me so unbelievably happy. Can't wait for the next episodes!!

  2. In the US, I use the brand Jetboil which is very similar to that Alpkit. I love it! And use it often when camping. Yes, it's not perfect for all cooking situations, it definitely can do more than just liquids. Relatively light and multi-purpose make it great addition to any pack when camping. Thanks for reviewing!

  3. 2 weeks ago Barry said he wanted….isn't that how PIO started and the PIO live happened?

  4. Alpkit is perfect for freeze dried foods to boil the water. For raw food the heat is to high unless you use as a micro deep fryer.

  5. Whoever wrote the marketing blurb for that solar cooker and characterized the Sun as "always available" clearly has never spent any time in the UK.

  6. Think you guys really enjoyed making this. Really enjoyed watching it – just hope you didn't fly over 🙁

  7. i frickin' love gadget testing videos! I frickin' love seeing James! I am verra happy at the moment!

  8. One of the more difficult things to get on the trail is good coffee. They are always coming up with new coffee gadgets for the outdoors. There was one called the Bripe, a coffee brewing pipe. There is the Jogo, a brewing straw.
In cookware, I'd love to see what you think of the GSI escape pot.
Then there are all kinds of camping stoves. I'd like to see what a chef thinks of cooking on something like the fold n go or a pocket rocket.

  9. while yes the solar cooker COULD be used in snow but all the heat its generating is going to be sucked away by the ambient air temp + any windchill so if u had tried that on a beach somewhere warm it would work far better
