So beef schnitzel? Flour instead of crumbs? Nothing new nothing special here. Something my mum did to try and make something exciting out of nothing when we didnāt have much to eat in the house.
In the south of US we usually have ācube steakā basically top round or sirloin that comes pre-tenderized. Yāallās looked great!

Check out argentinian milanesas! They are similar and can be prepared in multiple ways. Usually no roux though!

I use ribeye steak cut thin, and I also roast off some jalapenos and throw them in the gravy. š

I mean sure it doesn't have nutmeg and uses bacon fat instead of butter wouldn't you just call it a bƩchamel? "White/cream gravey" or "black pepper roux" just seems like a mouthful to me haha
