Andy looks so much happier with this lady than he does in the hostage vids with his stale wife.

So beef schnitzel? Flour instead of crumbs? Nothing new nothing special here. Something my mum did to try and make something exciting out of nothing when we didn’t have much to eat in the house.

I mean sure it doesn't have nutmeg and uses bacon fat instead of butter wouldn't you just call it a béchamel? "White/cream gravey" or "black pepper roux" just seems like a mouthful to me haha

In the south of US we usually have “cube steak” basically top round or sirloin that comes pre-tenderized. Y’all’s looked great!

Check out argentinian milanesas! They are similar and can be prepared in multiple ways. Usually no roux though!

I use ribeye steak cut thin, and I also roast off some jalapenos and throw them in the gravy. 😋

If you use breadcrumbs and serve it with actual beef gravy, chips and either a salad or steamed veggies, it’s called crumbed steak. A stable of any pub menu in North Queensland. It’s usually only $20 or so.
