    Friendly tip from one sourdough bread maker to another… don't pour your sourdough discard down the drain. It's like cement for your pipes and can cause some serious problems. 😅

20. Naomi, It was hard to tell but it looked like you poured your sourdough starter down the drain. You should not do that, it hardens in your pipes. Use a paper towel to wipe out as much excess that you can and throw it in the garbage. Then you are good to wash your jar. Hope this helps ❤️ absolutely love your videos! You make me smile every Saturday!

27. Sweet Noemi, please don't put sourdough starter or any part of the dough you create with it down your sink! It can do very bad things to your pipes and septic tank, just google it. Thanks for the beautiful, relaxing and colorful content!
