    Here is the recipe EL COOKS 🔽

    5 yolks
    1/2C sugar
    2Tbsp corn starch (+2Tbsp water for slurry)
    2 ½ Cups whole milk
    Peels of 1 orange
    1-2 cinnamon sticks
    Orange zest for topping!

  2. Never heard of Catalana before. Now I’ve tried making flan maybe a decade or so ago. Haven’t had the inkling to try and make crème brûlée either. But this!! Yes!! I’m making it tonight.

  6. Could you experiment? How about making this with a blood orange? Make the same pudding with blood orange peel. Then juice the Inner pulp, substitute the blood orange juice for liquid in flan syrup and add to sugar in pan to make traditional flan syrup with a twist! Then line your dishes with this excellent caramelized blood orange syrup and top it with the pudding, pop in fridge and voila you now have a fusion recipe!
