  1. One of my favorite dishes in the world. I used to go to a restaurant in Alhambra that had the most amazing version, but then moved to San Francisco and it seems like sesame paste (which I can't stand) is much more predominately used here. I wish I knew a little more about how to determine which region/restaurant was more inclined to use sesame paste.

  3. Dan Dan mien is definitely my favourite Sichuan dish! ???? I make it like you teach in this video, but I like to add ginger, star anise and Sichuan pepper to give it a more complex flavour -indeed, I love these spices!
