  1. I'm binging your videos. You haven't posted in a while. I pray you come back. You are awesome.

  2. Why didn't anyone tell me you could do this. I am blown over with this lady and how smart she is. She is amazing.

  3. Thank you so much for these videos.. I'm new to dehydrating, and just purchased my first dehydrator. I didn't think the food looked right (it was still pliable and still had moisture in it) even after doubling and tripling the recommended time. After watching your videos, I realize I need a better dehydrator! I had no idea I could do so much with dehydrated foods! We're starting to prep, feeling it's really time, and your video's just opened up a whole new world of ideas for me! Wish you were still making the video's, but will continue watching all the wonderful ones you've made. Thank you so much.

  4. You don't answer any questions, just selling your book, I'll find someone who appreciates the people wo take the time to watch a video and respond to as many questions as they can. Maybe you just don't know the answers.

  5. Do the hash browns have oil in them? I checked our and they had added oil and thought they would spoil.

  6. Wrong! The dehydrated carrot will NOT turn right back into the original carrot. So…… only use these foods for soups, casseroles, and stews.
They are delicious that way. NOT FOR FRESH SALADS!!!!

  7. Just one question about the potatoes. Don't they generally coat frozen potatoes with some kind of oil that would go rancid over time?

  8. I just received my first dehydrator and I'm getting ready to use it for the first time. Thanks for all the visuals, so I know when its done how it is supposed to look.

  9. I like your videos the most. I have to ask you how to do some thing. I am using caned Pineapples. I want to add Honey to them, Like candied and dry them in the dryer. Can this be done? I want to use them for a trail mix and vac pack them also. Is the shelf life good if I can do this? John

  10. Thank you for this video! You have inspired me to buy a dehydrator and dry all kinds of veggies. Have you dried frozen spinach before? Thanks again!!

  11. Use an egg slicer to do your 1/2 frozen strawberries and then the slices will be uniform!

  12. Thank you so much I bought 25 lbs and I didn't want to mess them up. What a blessing you are.

  13. Hi, I love my dehydrator, but I am already thinking about buying another one. I got the 9 tray upgraded wiring because I felt like I would keep it on most of the time.

Quick question, do you blanch your carrots (fresh ones) or can you just treat with lemon and dehydrate them? Thank you.

  14. Nubeck: I started storing food about a year and a half ago and everyone thought I was insane at first. My teenage son also laughed at me and rolled his eyes a lot. Then the market collapsed and people started asking questions and wondering how I knew it was coming. Then the layoffs started. Now, I have friends who are learning to can food with me and a lot of people don't think I'm so crazy anymore. hehe Mom's know best!

  15. Loved this Two Part Videos! Specially that you made the comparison of the quantities by the end! This gives us an idea on quantities when cooking!

  16. Good job! I dehydrated frozen blueberries the other day. They will go into a granola bar recipe very soon. 🙂

  17. I learn something new each time I watch your videos! I now have y wife watching them as well. You have answered many questions we had found your way of dehydrating foods to be the most informative on the net. Thank you for taking the time and your hard work to share your knowledge.
