  4. YES I AM. Thank You so much. I tried about 3 yrs ago & quit because of the drive. I drove 3 hours to get there from monday to friday. I have the determination & since I was a kid was attracted to the dental operating board games & actually care about my teeth. I am 24 yrs old & I am working on moving to palm springs CA to assist Milan Institute. So I can live my dream. I was depressed in not believing again. But I have official college books & am absorbing everything I can.

  5. I am in Dental school and now after doing deep research I have come to find out that they treat their dental assistants like shit. Not only are they treated bad, but have poor pay. The Dentists also treat their dental assistants like crap.

I am about to go into the 2nd semester but might not even go for it now that I have found this out. Guys save your money and either look for another career to pursue unless you also want to work with stuck up Dental Assistants and Dentist who treat you like shit.

  6. I used to be a CNA but I had to quit the profession after I developed myoclonise. I can still hold knifes, needles and baby's without issue but most nursing homes get freaked out by the twitching. I know of a good school that will admit me to the assisting program but would my medical issues make it hard to find gainful employment?

  7. I'm a CMA and Certified Phlebotomist, I love working with people and helping them. About to be 50 in July, and have an interest in DA. Wondering if it would be beneficial for me at my age to spend the money on becoming a DA if my age would be a problem gaining employment after graduation . All input appreciated. Thanks in avance!
