Kristin Garcia says:

Diet and exercise, gee – why didn't I think of that? I don't know, maybe because of my depression my energy level is non-existant and I'm lucky if I get out of bed in the morning let alone go to work out at the gym. 🙄

Emina Alihodzic says:

I’m on antidepressants and I can’t lose weight. I barely eat anything and I exercise a lot but I can’t lose weight it’s impossible. I have to be on antidepressants because of my anxiety and ocd.

marc bell says:

Here is an antidepressant that will make you lose weight. Buproprion (aka Wellbutrin among others). Used for smoking cessation. Ya take this med and smoking is no longer pleasurable. Neither is eating or listening to music or orgasm. Pretty soon you decide life is not worth living, you die and decay into wisps of hydrogen and calcium phosphate. Hey Joe! You're looking mighty skeletal, today.

acloudofblackmist says:

As a doctor I can say this guy’s an idiot – patients of mine calorie count and work out and they still can’t lose weight. Also, depression is a chemical imbalance. This guy is essentially placing the blame entirely on the patients.

Saudi Jack says:

Well, I am back here after 4 months. Still ,, looking for a solution!

Algerian Cutie says:

so if i could exercise and diet that simple why am i depressed? why am i on antidepressants? Do you know what depression is?

Saudi Jack says:

Most people who are giving us advises here and there do not know shit about antidepressants and weight gain ! I am 100 kg and I don't know how to get rid of the extra fat stored in my belly and butt! I have tried dieting and exercising. Nothing worked for me!

TE Groghan says:

lol so wrong….I think this guy is just some hack.

Ruth J. Delavega says:

Get most of your energy just before noon. Research discover that the more you take in in the morning, the less you'll eat in the evening. And you have more chances to burn off those early-day calories than you do to burn off dinner calories.

Liz Wei says:

you insult me. how are you supposed to be a doctor? i feel like crying watching this video. psychotropic/antidepressant drugs can change motabolism, blood sugar, brain chemistry and appitite. YOU try loosing weight only using diet and exercise while taking medication. it doesnt work. a total waste of my 2mins.

JenJen says:

This guy is an idiot! It doesn't even address the fact that those that have depression have low motivation! It's not as easy to just get up and diet/exercise. This a mental issue and telling to think about whether they need AD or does not make a difference!

R S says:

@k77able Lets see, I was 229 pre AD and in 3 months after taking them I was 248. I didn't change my diet or excercise program. I decided to up my excercise and eat less….. gained more weight. Then it just happens that a few months after stopping AD I start to lose weight. So with all do respect sir…. Go shove your diet and excercise program up your rear end and stop giving people false hope that they can overcome the weight gain because they can't with ssris.

R S says:

This guys nuts. AD make excercise and diet to be IRRELEVENT.

Nikki says:

Yeah its not always as simple as that!! I gained weight from celexa and no diet and exercise would budge it!!
