  1. Maybe it is just my experiences. But, in Indonesia, I have yet to encounter food-based gender roles.

The existing ones are already exhausting enough. We don’t need food-based ones.

  2. "You believe differently than me. Therefore you must be insecure."
    Great philosophy that is

  3. Clarence0 should also be soy boy then. But I bet they are afraid to tell him that lol.

  4. None of that was nearly as universal as you made it out to be.
Not to mention, your videos are what gave me the impression that vegetables are cool, but now you’re telling me they’re not? Wth!?

  5. Coming from a very conservative family in the Bible Belt, the first thing that comes to mind is 'good 'ol boys like meat and putatuhs', so I wonder how much is also tied to nationalism. Maybe that's a reach, but toxic masculinity and American nationalism have gone hand in hand in my experience.

  6. I thought me eating the hell out of tofu and other vegan food was the most masculine thing in the world….. I guess im too online.

  7. My sister said she felt lethargic and cold all the time when she was a vegetarian. According to her, that all went away when she went back to eating meat.

Idc if it's "manly" or "feminine" or whatever, I just like meat.

  8. It’s such an interesting question. As a plant-based/vegan man, it’s been interesting observing men’s reaction to my diet choices.

  9. It's like men who can't be seen with a pink item of clothing or say that another man is handsome. I've not eaten meat in years, but recently have started talking more to other vegans (thank you internet), and I've been pleasantly surprised at how many men are now going vegan, but not surprised to hear the 'banter' they have to put up with from their male friends mocking them for being a girl or turning gay. I think way more men need to be in therapy than actually are.

  10. Damn, didn't know I needed to watch this. Thank you, this is giving me the courage to eat healthier like in a new life style diet.

  11. You're projecting on their projection hiding your insecurities in their insecurities.
    Checkmate I win.

  12. Because man used to do the hard work and therefore needed calorie denser food like meat.

  13. You know you need vitamin b12 and animal cholesterol to produce testasterone and to take care of your nervous system right? Only found in meat. Just like most amino acids only found in meat and animal products not vegies. Unless you take special suplements but that defeats the purpose. Also fun fact testasterone is dominant in bouth sexes only men have much more and women have much more estrogen. There are foods better for women and there are foods better for men. That's why i try not to drink mint tea.

  14. I was vegetarian for 5 years and strict vegan for about a year. Whenever the subject came up, I was met with "oh I didn't know you liked men" or some variation of that. As if it's somehow a legitimate counter argument. The whole concept of me being associated with manliness has never made any sense
