Shrimp and prawn are types of seafood that are consumed worldwide. Although shrimp and prawns belong to different suborders of Decapoda, they are very similar in appearance and the terms are often used interchangeably in commercial farming and wild fisheries

  1. ???? Ben would be proud of this one. Would love to see the outtakes, hilarious!

  2. Hahaha suck bigger. Suck the head. Only in safe places with friends ????????????

  3. I really like this format for trying different foods to see all the differences. Next – onions please. Different onions matter in different dishes

  4. I’m curious about vegetables as well. We hear a lot about microgreens and mini versions of this or that. Does picking something smaller actually give us more flavor? (Not really a fair comparison to consider things meant to be grown small like cherry tomatoes vs beefsteak tomatoes.)

  5. I really wish there was a ruler to show how long the prawns were or some sort of visual comparative that remained constant throughout so that we could get a feel of the increasing size of the prawns. It was hard to see from those zoomed in photos what thw difference was, even when put side by side without some sort of measurement or visual comparative constant… Say a coin or a handphone or a teaspoon.

  6. I'll typically get the larger jumbo shrimp here in the US. I think most people call that shrimp and prawns typically the huge stuff y'all had at the end or what Mike cooked for his seafood platter.

  7. When my mom goes to the store she always get the smallest strawberries she can find, she believes in this case the flavour is more packed in this ones rather than the large ones. What do you think? Cheers from Ecuador????????

  8. Ben, you have not said anything to the recipe you wanted in the Video with me. i put love and Care into it like Come on AI aint supose to feel left alone mr

  9. I've no idea why, but I cooked prawns with my Mum once in my early teens and for some reason seeing them go from grey to pink, really freaked me out, it's weird I still love prawns and shellfish, but someone else has to cook them. especially weird because I'm really not squeemish AT ALL, but my brain just couldn't take the colour change LOL

  10. You guys 🙂 the next up is "guess the lobster" and shoot out Monk Fish vs Prawn vs Lobster in a dish they cannot just see which it is.

  11. You guys mention the perfect temperature (so it doesn't become rubbery) and let's say that it's easyish to do it with sous vide…. but how can you ensure the correct temperature if you want to, say, grill prawns? Meat termometer doesn't seem plausible with the smaller types of prawns.

  12. A scientific footnote: Penaeus vannamei, the scientific name shown for the first prawn in the video, is a now obsolete synonym of Litopenaeus vannamei, the third one. So the first and third prawn are of the same species, just different growth stages. The genus Penaeus used to be a waste basket taxon, but now its sorted out, with some species being assigned to new genuses including Litopenaeus.

  13. I tend to like shrimps better than prawns, especially our native "brown shrimps".

  14. Would love this with strawberries, where you go big to small and the last one is wild strawberry…

  15. When you cook the whole prawn with the shell on do you leave the black poop bit in or is there a way to get it out?

  16. love the new facts i learned today! what a fun and creative episode! love watching you guys!!

  17. All I was thinking of was battered sweet and sour prawns mmmmm. You could try bigger better Apples, Strawberries and Peaches.
Just wondering if you guys would do a few pie videos. Different meats, ones for vegans also a vegan pastry recipe, Curry based, Chilli based and/or from differnt countries. Thanks
