Does the Folding Mate X2 have Hidden Carbon Fiber? – Teardown!

Its time to take apart Huaweis $3000 folding phone. Get 15% off your Raycon earbuds HERE: https://www.buyraycon.com/jerryrigeverything Huge thanks to Raycon for sponsoring this video. Huaweis new folding Mate X2 is a super expensive device. With advertised carbon fiber supports for the bending screen maybe that cost is justified? The only way to see the insides is with a teardown!

  1. You know what, I really like Huawei products (phones, laptops etc.) but I will never buy them, because of the ban, and that’s why I don’t like Trump.

  2. Man i feel bad for the huawei US ban, they used to make great phones, still daily driving a honor play and some features on it are amazing

  3. I hope Huawei comes out with a mate x3 because my fold2 inner screen didn't survive the long term durability test due to the ultra thin glass cracking from cold weather folding/unfolding. But really I should have known better to get the extra warranty.

  4. I have a moto G7 I would be real curious to see what the insides look like do you have a video of that phone being taken apart I've looked but can't seem to find it on your channel.

  5. Honestly, Ray Jay makes pretty cheap feelin awful sounding headphones, cannot recommend ray jay's, dont make the same mistake as me

  6. It can be seen that Huawei has cut costs in some places and that makes Samsung a bit more advanced in some things. But let's not forget that Huawei's sales have suffered incredibly much from America's sanctions and it's normal to cut costs. Just think about what innovative technologies this phone could have had if all this didn't happen … Respect Huawei!

  7. Shame that Huawei is banned in the United States, and that this thing is prohibitively expensive because that is like the perfect form factor.

  8. £3000? And still no Google support wtaf it it had android I’d buy it I think looks wise it’s a tick and size of screen it’s a tick. But only relying on the huawei user interface hell to the no . What size is it by the way ?

  9. However, wired headphones are the best as they never need any charging
    Wired headphones are a must

  10. Among the dozen ads I had to watch on this video was a Samsung folding phone ad.
