  1. Great video. I would love a longer one showing how you created the final images out of the multiple shots taken.

  2. I'm at a loss here… I get the theory, you combine 2 images…So the first step I understand, you expose without flash for the ambient light, but for the second shot with added light, which settings for flash do you dial in? This isn't TTL anymore? For the 2nd shot you keep you camera settings the same as the first? How do you dial in the correct values for flash? I'm using a speed light.

  3. Amazing results. Though I notice it wasn't completely hard lighting. There was some soft transitions with the shadows on the skin which I liked. What sort of modifier was used to achieve that? The only modifier I took note of during the shoot was the reflector. I guess I missed an important detail somewhere in the video.

  4. Wow, am impressed. The knowledge there in, is still great a few years down the line. My question is, in scene 2 when taking the play shots, you did not shoot on a tripod. Must you shoot on a tripod, to get the exact same shot positioning ?

  5. I did the same with a 7D, yongnuo flash and a piece of paper. 0,05 cents. 😉

  6. What stand are you using for your light?? The one your assistant is holding thanks

  7. Gorgeous photos. Definitely a level I'm aspiring to achieve. Hats off to you sir!

  8. Love your tutorials, Pye! You seem like such a great guy! 🙂
