Sauce Recipe for TGIFriday Chicken Sandwich:
1 cup mayo
2 Tbsp BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp honey
2 tsp mustard
1 tsp granulated onion
1/2 tsp coarse pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Mix all of these together and generously lather on your sandwich buns!
Creole Sausage Bites w/ Creamy Cajun Dipping Sauce:
1 8-oz crescent roll dough sheet
12 oz package andouille sausage
2 Tbsp Creole seasoning
1 eggs plus 1 Tbsp water for egg wash
Preheat oven to 350 F. and grease a baking sheet. Unroll crescent dough and sprinkle with Creole seasoning. Slice into 1/2 inch strips. Cut sausage into 1 inch pieces and wrap with crescent dough. Place on baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
Meanwhile, mix together sauce ingredients:
1/2 cup mayo
1 Tbsp coarse grain Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp ketchup
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp fresh parsley, finely minced
2 tsp horseradish
1 tsp pickle juice
Hearty Pizza Hot-Dish recipe:
Bottom Layer:
4 cups egg noodles
4 eggs
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp salt
Top Layers:
1 lb sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained
24 oz jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
3 oz pepperoni
Preheat oven to 350 and spray 9×13 pan. Boil noodles for 7 minutes, drain, put back in the pot. Put eggs, cottage cheese, parmesan and salt in blender. Blend for 10 seconds and pour over the noodles. Stir and pour into prepared pan. Top with browned sausage. Next add jar of sauce. Then layer the cheese and top with pepperoni. Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes!

Stephen looks so good! Losing weight is so hard. And having a cooking channel would make it harder exponentially! My favorite cookbook is from a church I belonged to a !omg time ago. Not sure you can beat church cookbooks!

I am right there with you on those Ingelhoffer small jars. I love their honey mustard but really dislike the entire label coming off when opening it. As to fav. cookbooks? I love the ones by Peg Bracken from the seventies because she is so funny.
Six cookbooks. That's cute. I've got 15, and 3 more for baking. My oldest one is a small binder from Better Homes and Gardens (way back before you, me, and Tater were born… 1947), and one that deals specifically with chicken from the '70's. Problem with that one is that's the one where "Sunshine Chicken" is. I need to tear that page out, and burn it.
I don’t have an air fryer but all 3 look good and will try. Fanny Farmer is my go to cookbook. ❣️

My sister is a teacher so she would use more proper words so she calls britches “pants”. When her son, my nephew was young, he called them britches, because I taught him the correct name for pants… britches.
try using tongs when baking fries in the oven to flip yourr fries

For the one piece label issue: run the blade of a knife under the lip of the lid to separate the part around the lid from the part around the jar. Then remove the top part. It takes a village, doesn't it?? lol 😁
Use rice cauliflower for your pasta when you make the pizza casserole.
Buy clear duck tape. When your wrapper comes off, cut the part of the wrapper you need. Dry the container and use the duck tape the label back on the container.
