  1. I made this today. The blueberries are really big right now, the organics ones that I got from Costco anyway, this is a huge hit and right on time for blueberries !! Thanks !

  2. Thank you, John. I love your videos! Love the tips you give for baking and cooking!

  3. Well I know I can add some lemon zest but what happens if I add some fresh lemon juice

  4. Is more than AMAZING 👏 friend thank you very much God bless to your family 🙏

  5. Omgoodness, John!! That looks ah-mazing! Yes, your lemon blueberry cake is outstanding. All your baked goods are delicious. Thanks so much for sharing all your recipes…✌️❤️

  6. Perfect timing. I made this up this morning. The bread is baking right now. I know it will be delicious. Your recipes never disappoint

  7. Quick bread is any bread leavened with a chemical leavening agent rather than a biological one like yeast or sourdough starter.😊

  8. I've made other blueberry bread recipes, and my frozen berries always sink to the bottom, even after coating with the flour mixture. I hope this works better. Also, given that an acid has been added (egg), might a 1/4-1/2 tsp of baking soda be added to increase the rise? Finally, frozen berries are notorious for dying the batter blue. To prevent this, a quick dip to rinse in ice cold water will wash away that nasty staining juice. Then coat with flour mixture, as John does. The quick rinse does NOT cause the berries to sink.

  9. Will have to try this for sure. Been making some of your other breads like the banana and the pumpkin bread. They only last about two days in our house 😂

  10. You can say "bread", "bready" and "dough" all you want… but you've made a batter and this is a CAKE!!

  11. Delicious! A sugar/flour/butter crumb topping is also delicious on blueberry bread 💕🥰

  12. If you wanted to make strawberry or raspberry bread, would you use the same amount of fruit, or would you need to adjust the amount ? Thanks 😊

  13. Why is the conversion of cups to grams different for the flour and the sugar? I only have cups around but my 1 cup is 240 ml

  14. I just finished baking all your yummy pumpkin recipes! They all passed the taste test..Definitely trying this recipe tomorrow 🥰

  15. Thank you for the tip to cost the blueberries in flour before adding them to the batter. The last time I made blueberry muffins the blueberries all sank to the bottom
